Gold coated ivy to grow in the sunshine. One seed’s corruption will stalk up the vine. Stemming and spreading and contaminating… All the more reason to tighten what’s tied. And the painted men…seem to animate in your house. All the silhouettes…whisper disobedience in your house. All the strings and…. All the chains they… Tie themselves to your heart. Rust coated ivy corrodes in the blacklight. One cell’s resistance has multiplied. Turned phrases, turned coats, and turning of the tides. All the more reason to tighten what’s tied. And the characters…they all take their bow in your house. Feel it in the breeze, the stinging sense of synergy in your house? All the strings and…. All the chains they… Tie themselves to your heart. Whisper, whisper…can you hear it… In the floors, the walls, and ceilings… Strings and chains tie down your heart.

Enkidu 03:54
Not far away and the pale horse is riding, closer in time. One by one we fall on the wrong side of a faceless coin falling. No one knows who we are. We're not to get out alive if we're to live forever. Not far away in a house of cards falling, one at a time. One by one we fall on the wrong side of a watchtower glowing, and no one knows where we are. Artists in self-preservation. Stars refuse their illumination. And the failing constellations burn away and die. We're not to get out alive if we're to live forever.

Carrier 04:38
Tilted hour glass...over on its side. Not to kill the time, but spill the sand. Spun a globe around...match against the side. Not to change the world, but watch it burn. The meaning lost in a whirl of wind. And coming round again...and coming round again.... When I'm different here, do you know me still? Pressure is greater, but I... I can feel the weight of it all, but I am not the carrier. Changed the rules again...favoring a side. Not to end the game but to know who'd win. The meaning lost in a whirl of wind. And coming round again...and coming round again.... When I'm different here, do you know me still? Pressure is greater, but I... I can feel the weight of it all, but I am not the carrier. When I'm different here, do you know me still? Pressure is greater, but I... I can feel the weight of it all, but I am not the carrier.

Fugue State 04:39
Stuck on a carousel, a cycle vertiginous, where music and laughing men can twist your head with hypnosis. They teach you to fear the night but that's when we come to life... To save you as passenger from captive in their dizzying world. And it's time we remind who've forgotten. Turn the world on its side and see who's left standing. Whatever it takes, you will see, you'll remember. We have not gone away, we're just waiting. Now I've never seen the man. He works with a slight of hand. His medals a sparkle shine distraction as he makes his steal. We live in his silhouette. We live underneath your bed. And what you're afraid of is the savior of all you have left. And it's time we remind who've forgotten. Turn the world on its side and see who's left standing. Whatever it takes, you will see, you'll remember. We have not gone away, we're just waiting...for you. And it's time we remind who've forgotten. Stick a thorn in the side, see who's left bleeding. Whatever it takes, you will see, you'll remember. We have not gone away, we're just waiting...for you.

High climb. Tall vine. Your ambition is never enough. Thick spine. Big blind. And your vision's the root of your worth. As you stand at the edge of the earth. Murder of the Queen, why don't you kill the whole regime? Until you kill your right to sleep and never wake up. No reign. There's no reign. Silenced in the order of who speaks. Speak of nothing, save your voice, that golden noise released. Murder of the Queen, why don't you kill the whole regime? Until you kill your right to sleep and never wake up. As you stand at the edge of the earth. No reign. There's no reign. High fall. Slow crawl. Self-destruction is never enough. Thin spine. Gone blind. And your vision's the root of your worth.

Shepherds lead these sheep to polluted water. Force them to drink all, don't let them backwash swallow. Remove the tracks to follow. The flock left behind and deaf by sonic poison. Looks now to the skies in hopes of hearing something. But you scream a song of lies, a satellite control for everyone in the herd, with each word, it gets worse. And the rest is static. A wreckless noise. So seraphs sans their mark look to the skies for nothing. Waiting patiently for something never coming that will deliver their wings. Mirage affected the sight and sound for those with this light. And at night new hopes flood the skies for something never coming. Still you scream a song of lies, a satellite control for everyone in the herd with each word it gets worse. And the rest is static. A wreckless noise. And you came and you stayed for love. And you bend, never break for love. And you kneel and you steal for love. And you crawl and you'll fall for love. And you choke, suffocate for love. In return you will burn for love.

about

'In The Blacklight' is the second collection of songs released by Arma. The EP features a departure from more straight-forward rock into more spacey instrumentals, trippy grooves, unique progressions and odd time signatures.
